the shirt & suit was obtained from the wardrobe department at Fox Studios where it had been worn by various vampires in the tv show Buffy The Vampire Slayer. i added the dust and the butterfly.

gorgeous!
thank you, moonwynd …
Beautiful! Love the fact about it being worn in Buffy haha
thanks hannah; the suit survived sunnydale only to be further tormented in england …
lyrical and haunting… a sense something tenderly disturbing. stunning image!
love your phrasing of ‘something tenderly disturbing’. feel as though ‘this way comes’ should be added on the end.
ohhhhhh I like that! makes me think of David Usher’s Black Black Heart…. ( though that’s ‘something ugly this way comes’ )
Wonderful.
And I love Buffy by the way.
thanks ashley. and for your words on broken light. thought you might be a sunnydale-girl at heart … 🙂
Beautiful and haunting (as much of your work is). I guess butterfly wings are mostly dust too. I do find the butterfly hopeful but with your explanation it has many layers of meaning.
thank you karen.
Hi john Luke,
I hope all is well with you.
This work reminded me of your work, I thought you might find it inspiring.
