I like this word ‘obscurata’.
thanks s/eyeball. i couldn’t find a real term for these kind of mis-firing frames so i had to make one up – its latin and variously means: darkened, concealed, hidden, suppressed, blinded, made indistinct and, my personal favourite, ‘having been kept unknown’.
Sounds like quite the right term to me.
